They’re based in California and support a wide range of local causes, from animal welfare to local businesses and education.

- Not big enough for large yields
- Some buyers complain their Superbos arrived incomplete or with broken parts
[/su_list]
The Superbox is Supercloset’s entry-level model.
It’s so compact and stealthy it can fit almost anywhere, which is a big plus for stealth growers.
I know I would have been thrilled with a system like this when I was studying at university and living in dorms.
Despite its size, it can fit up to 8 small plants with the Superponics system or six plants in one-gallon pots.
It’s also air and light-proof, so you won’t need to worry about light leakage or strong odours.
It costs $664 for the hydroponics version, and for that money you get quite a complete setup.
It includes the Superponics hydroponic system for eight plants, dual Kind LED X40 Flower Bar Lights, App-Controlled Smart Timers, WIFI webcam, internal circulation fan, carbon filter, thermometer/hygrometer and a plant nutrients starter kit so you can get started right away.
As you can see, this system should give anyone the essentials to get started with hydroponic growing.
Deluxe Smart Grow Closet ($2184)
Pros:
[su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#0a9b43″]
- Good compromise between compact size and large yields
- Comes set up with everything you need to start growing
- Uses energy-efficient LED lights
- Included app and webcam allow you to monitor your plants remotely
- Dual chamber system allows for continual harvests.
[/su_list]
Cons:
[su_list icon=”icon: remove” icon_color=”#9b1d0a”]
- Users complain previous model with HPS lighting was a fire hazard
- May not fit in all spaces due to being bigger than the Superbox
- Some buyers complain their Grow Closet arrived incomplete or with broken parts
[/su_list]
The Deluxe Smart Grow Closet is Supercloset’s mid-level system.
It measures 18” wide, 24” deep and 30” high and is the perfect compromise between compact size and abundant yields.
The setup includes the Superponics hydroponic system for 16 plants, KIND K3 XL450 Series 2 LED Grow Light (equal to a 450w HPS), App-Controlled Smart Timers, WIFI webcam, internal circulation fan, carbon filter, thermometer/hygrometer, as well as a premium plant nutrient kit to start growing as soon as you set it up.
The dual growing chambers allow for a rotational harvest, so you can veg or flower up to 16 plants in the top chamber while keeping clones or seedlings in the bottom one.
Growers shouldn’t worry too much about smell with this system since it’s air and light-proof, plus it also has a built-in carbon filter that scrubs the air 24/7.
Another exciting feature is the ability to check your plants and control feeding and light cycles with an app and webcam system.
At $2184, it’s not exactly cheap, but it does make the process of switching to hydroponics a lot less intimidating.
SuperTrinity Smart Grow Closet System ($4504)
Pros:
[su_list icon=”icon: check” icon_color=”#0a9b43″]
- Biggest Grow Closet for largest yields
- Comes set up with everything you need to start growing
- Uses energy-efficient LED lights
- Included app and webcam allow you to monitor your plants remotely
- Dual cabinet, triple chamber system allows growers to have vegging, flowering and cloning spaces.
[/su_list]
Cons:
[su_list icon=”icon: remove” icon_color=”#9b1d0a”]
- Large size
- Some buyers complain their Grow Closet arrived incomplete or with broken parts
[/su_list]
The SuperTrinity Smart Grow Closet System is Supercloset’s most complete model.
With its dual cabinet, triple chamber system it can accommodate 12 plants in each veg or flower chamber using Superponics hydroponic system, so you can veg and flower at the same time.
It also has space for 50 clones or seedlings in the bottom chamber.
Each grow chamber is also fitted with dual carbon filters so you won’t need to worry about smell no matter how many plants you put in it.
Just like all other Supercloset models, you can track your plants and control light and feeding schedules remotely with the app and webcam system.
Of course, at $4504, it’s clear this is not an entry-level setup.
Yet for the experienced grower looking to switch from soil to hydroponics, it is an exciting machine.
With its KIND K3 XL600 LED Grow Lights it should produce as much as a 600w HPS setup while saving money on electricity.
The Dual 12 Plant SuperPonics System is also quite attractive since it would allow for a continual harvest, vegging in one cabinet while flowering in the other.
So it’s safe to say that despite the price it can provide big harvests that will repay the initial investment.
Final thoughts
I have been growing cannabis in soil for many years.
Yet building my own hydroponics system has always intimidated me.
The Supercloset system makes this less scary by providing a complete system that allows for hydroponic growing without having to figure out and set it up all by yourself.
Do you have any experience with a Supercloset Cabinet? Let me know in the comments.
